Mission Statement

Helping individuals balance their lives and thrive in an outpatient setting focused on personal growth and improving overall quality of life.

Mental Health Practice

My experience enables me to offer effective outpatient, individualized psychological care. I treat a number of mental health disorders and provide neutral ground where you can work at your own pace.

Treatment Focus

My focus is to help individuals heal and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.

Goals

My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.

Relationship Counseling

Learn to communicate effectively, resolve conflict, set healthy boundaries, and recognize the thought patterns that strain relationships. You will learn it is OK to say no.

Please note: This practice does not provide substance abuse counseling or religious trauma therapy.

15 minutes, no commitment

Not sure yet? Start with a consultation

A 15-minute consultation is a chance to ask questions about group or individual counseling before you decide anything β€” what a session actually looks like, which of the two would suit you better, and how payment and insurance work.

You do not need a diagnosis, a referral, or a clear idea of what is wrong. Bringing the questions is enough.

Learning to set healthy boundaries

A boundary is not a wall, and it is not an ultimatum. It is the line that says what you will and will not carry β€” and for a lot of people it was never modeled, so it has to be learned in adulthood, from scratch.

Saying no can feel like a betrayal when you have spent years being the reliable one. That guilt is not evidence you have done something wrong. It usually just means the boundary is new.

What this work looks like

  • Noticing where your limits already are, and where they get crossed
  • Saying what you need plainly, without over-explaining or apologizing for it
  • Holding a limit once it is set, including when someone pushes back
  • Recognizing and disputing the thinking that makes no feel unsafe
  • Understanding the part self-care plays in every relationship you have

This is individual work, and it is also the focus of Peace Within Boundaries, one of the Thriving Together groups.

β€œRelationships are like petals on a flower β€” they grow individually but bloom together.”
