Thriving Together

Support Groups

Individuals come together to work toward a common goal. There is a particular kind of relief in a room where nobody needs the situation explained โ€” things get easier to say out loud when the people hearing them have been there too.

Current groups

Carefree

Caregiver support

For the people doing the caring. Looking after someone who is ill, aging, or disabled is steady, largely invisible work, and it wears down the person doing it. This group is a place to set that down for a while among people who do not need it explained โ€” covering burnout, guilt, resentment, and the practical business of asking for help.

Love, Loss and Healing

Grief

Grief does not move on a schedule, and it rarely looks the way people expect it to. This group offers company for that โ€” space to talk about the person or the life you lost, to hear how others are carrying the same weight, and to find that what you are feeling is far more ordinary than it seems from the inside.

Peace Within Boundaries

Healthy boundaries

A working group for anyone who finds it hard to say no. Members practice naming what they need, holding a limit once it is set, and sitting with the discomfort that follows โ€” including guilt, and the reaction of people used to the old arrangement.

College Students

Student life

For students carrying coursework, money, and independence all at once โ€” often for the first time, and often a long way from home. A place to say out loud how much pressure that actually is, with people in the same year of life: stress and burnout, homesickness, comparison, and working out who you are when nobody from home is watching.

College students receive a discounted rate.

Please note: Groups are for adults only. Get in touch to ask which groups are currently running and whether there is space.

Joining a group

Joining a group starts with a conversation, not a walk-in. Call (501) 304-4352 or send a request through the contact page, and I'll talk you through which group fits and what you're hoping to get out of it. Consultations are 15 minutes.

A group can run alongside individual therapy or on its own โ€” you do not need to be an existing client to join one.
